The terms for using Privasis

These terms are an agreement between you and Super Intelligence Softwares LLC, doing business as Privasis (“Privasis”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Privasis website (www.privasis.com) and app (app.privasis.com). By creating an account or using Privasis, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your family’s information.

The short version

Your first 7 days are free. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe.
Prices are per kid, per family. Subscribe before your free week ends and you keep the promotional price ($1.99 a month for the first kid, $0.99 for each extra) for as long as you stay subscribed. Otherwise it’s $7.99 for the first kid and $3.99 for each extra.
Your plan renews every month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Account → Plan; you keep Privasis until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
Privasis helps families plan. Each parent stays responsible for driving, supervising and the safety of the kids in their care.

Who can use Privasis

Privasis is for parents and legal guardians aged 18 or over in the United States. It is by invitation only. Children do not have accounts; a parent can give their own child a read-only kid pass, and is responsible for how it is used. A family is up to two parents or guardians, each with their own sign-in, sharing one plan. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or Google account secure.

Your plan and billing

Free week. Every new family gets 7 free days with everything included. If you don’t subscribe, nothing is charged.
Prices. Prices are per kid, per family: the first kid, then a lower price for each extra kid. A family with no kids added is charged as one kid. If you subscribe before your free week ends, you pay the promotional price of $1.99 a month for the first kid and $0.99 for each extra, for as long as your subscription continues without a break. If your free week ends without subscribing, or you cancel and come back later, the price is $7.99 a month for the first kid and $3.99 for each extra. Prices are in US dollars and include any taxes we’re required to charge unless shown separately.
When you’re charged. If you subscribe during your free week, your first payment is taken when the free week ends, so subscribing early never costs you free days. After that, you are charged the same amount on the same day each month.
Adding or removing kids. When a subscribed family adds a kid, the extra kid’s price for the rest of the current month is charged straight away, and the new total applies from the next payment. Removing a kid gives a credit for the rest of the month, used against your next payments. During your free week, adding or removing kids costs nothing.
Two parents, one plan. When the kids’ other parent joins your family, you share one plan and each kid is paid for once. A parent who already pays for their own plan cancels it before joining.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically each month, and we charge the card you gave us, until you cancel.
Invite rewards. Each family who joins from your invite link and subscribes gives you an extra free week: your free week runs 7 days longer, or your next payment moves 7 days later. Rewards have no cash value and can’t be transferred.
Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. If a payment fails, we’ll ask you to update your card; if it isn’t fixed, your plan may lapse and coming back is at the standard price.
Price changes. If we change a price, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time in the app under Account → Plan → Manage payment and receipts, or by writing to support@privasis.com. You don’t need to give a reason.
When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you keep Privasis until the end of the month you’ve already paid for. Your information stays in your account unless you delete it.
Refunds. Monthly payments aren’t refunded for partly used months, except where the law requires it (removing a kid gives a credit, as above). If you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or charged after you cancelled, write to support@privasis.com within 60 days and we’ll refund it in full.
Deleting your account in Account → Delete my account also cancels your subscription straight away.

Driving and kids’ safety

Privasis is a planning tool. It helps families share schedules, rosters, notices and rides, but it does not provide transport, check drivers, or supervise children. Each parent decides who drives their kids and is responsible for their safety. Every driver is responsible for holding a valid licence and insurance, using the right car and booster seats, following the law, and driving safely. Never use the app while driving. Live car positions, routes and times are estimates and may be wrong or late.

Suggestions from Privasis

“Tell Privasis what’s changed” uses an AI service to understand your request and suggest a change. Nothing changes until you confirm it. Please check every suggestion before you accept it.

Using Privasis fairly

Please use Privasis only to organise your own family’s activities and rides. Don’t share other families’ information outside the app, post anything unlawful, harassing or harmful, impersonate anyone, invite people who haven’t agreed to be contacted, try to access groups or information that aren’t yours, or interfere with how Privasis works. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other families at risk.

Your content

What you add to Privasis (your details, kids’ details, notices and plans) stays yours. You give us permission to store and show it to the people you share it with, only to run Privasis. You can download or delete it at any time, as described in our privacy policy.

Changes to Privasis and these terms

We keep improving Privasis and may add, change or remove features. If we make an important change to these terms, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it applies, and update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Privasis after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can cancel.

Disclaimers and limits

We work hard to keep Privasis available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Privasis is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens on a ride or at an event, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can’t be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. If we have a disagreement, please write to us first at support@privasis.com and we’ll try to resolve it informally.
